In this session participants will understand how the brain becomes wired for reading. You will learn important instructional routines needed to improve and how and when to intervene with early readers to prevent reading failure. In this session, we will also discuss the recommendations from the Legislative Task Force on Dyslexia and how the Kansas Department of Education will be addressing these recommendations.
